Funniest comments ever...

I'm reading through the comments and suggestions from last year's Welcome Week in preparation for planning this year's.

In response to "If I was planning Welcome Week for next year, I would...", one respondent wrote:

include more diverse music! Suck as rock / atlertnative sounds

Atlertnative... (say this one out loud... it's funny!!)

*giggle*

Perhaps if we do as the next respondent suggests and remind new students to "get lots of rest before, during, and after the welcome week!!" we will avoid such funny spelling issues next year.

Or how about (same question)... "make that more relaxible"

I won't post the myriad misspellings that make these soon-to-be-graduate-students look slightly stupid...

And don't get me started on all the comments about the rain! Thankfully most were sympathetic and encouraging about the quick change of plans to accomodate feeding all these people. Some just don't understand (yet) that it doesn't rain in SoCal. We don't have rain plans because... well... it doesn't rain in SoCal. Why would we plan for something that never happens?! :)
